Annotation At present, along with the skills students must acquire knowledge from a wide range of sciences and become a carrier of a professional culture. This article discusses the relevance and benefits of foreign language knowledge as a means for forming professional culture of a future specialist. The paper reveals the specifics of teaching a foreign language to the students of full-time and part-time agricultural high schools, presents the analysis based on the students’ questionnaire on the organization, state and specifics of language learning. A foreign language gives an idea of symbiosis of cultures, languages, tendencies of developing foreign and home communities. The combination of theory and practice, teaching and self-education, professional and general disciplines leads to the formation of the students’ complete picture of reality.
