Annotation The article presents the experience of work in kindergarten “Alice” No. 203 ANO “Planet of Childhood “Lada” of Togliatti in introduction of methods and techniques of developing critical thinking in educational activity aimed at speech development of senior preschoolers. In the process of experimental work, the authors have developed organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of a more effective coherent speech of older preschool children. One of these conditions is the systematic use of technology for developing critical thinking by teachers of preschool educational organizations. The authors have also developed a technological map, described the main stages of this technology, and worked out in detail the activities of an educator and children at each stage: activation, understanding of content, reflection. The article offers methodical methods and techniques that reveal the practical orientation of technology for older preschool children. For the purpose of methodical support of pedagogical workers of a kindergarten, consulting and practice-oriented work on realization of the given technology in educational process has been organized. The authors focus on the features of using the technology of critical thinking development in the speech development of older preschoolers. The results of this work have a significant impact on the development of coherent speech among older preschool children.
