Annotation The article is devoted to the problem of domestic technological education development in primary schools. Special attention is paid to the aspects of labour training in historical retrospect and the content of modern technological education, the origins of which lie in labour training and education. The stages of the methodic schooldevelopment, from the birth of labour training and basics of the methodology to the phase of polytechnic training in the Soviet era, the transition from vocational education to technical education and to the present phase of the Federal state educational standard ideas of primary general educationrealization are considered in the article. The key ideas of the concept of the Polytechnic education system and the concept of forming of technological culture foundations in primary schools are presented. The general description of “technology” subject is given. A variant of the authors’ course of the subject “Technology” in the academic and methodological complex “Dialogue” and “School of dialogue” ispresented. Approaches to building a training course are disclosed. The essential characteristics of modern methodological school of labour training and technological education of younger students (under the Concept of a new educational system “School of dialogue”) are marked: preparation of pupils for life in a rapidly technologically changing world and information; mastering the methods of design and technological activity; development of creativity and formation of a technological picture of the world.
