Annotation Relevance of article is caused by more and more increasing influence on the modern person of channels of mass communication. The key instrument of functioning of mass media is the speech activity based on written (periodicals) and oral (radio and television) speech forms. Scientific interest represents actually speech factor which is most brightly shown in broadcasting activity. Speech characteristics of communication define vectors of meanings and style of public communication, influence behavior of the person, reveals its vital interests. In the presented work by means of methods of supervision, deduction and the cognitive analysis aspects of a publicist style as main property of radio performances are analyses. The main categories of radio communication are studied: \"the text in radio journalism\", \"radio speech\" and \"dialogue\". Functions of publicist style on radio are opened: information and influencing. Key characteristics of a publicist style of radio performances are the bright author’s beginning and a social orientation, commenting and an assessment reported, a moral component of the address to audience are investigated. It is noted that strengthening of a publicist style of communication is promoted by an active intonation, application of means of expression. Dependence of degree of a publicist style of the speech on radio from genre characteristics of messages is revealed. Programs of information broadcasting are focused on objective logical reflection of reality. In analytical transfers topical issue is investigated, commented, means of expression and an assessment of information are actively applied. The most advanced stage of a publicist style author’s transfers with obviously expressed publicist beginning, expressivity, originality and brightness of the speech possess. In article also the characteristic of a condition of culture of speech communication on modern domestic radio is given.
