Annotation The article reveals the idea of designing a preschool education model for families leading a nomadic way of life. The relevance of the model is justified by the special status of the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the Far North in Russia, the importance of considering the psychophysiological and sociocultural features of their development, supporting the national opportunities and needs of children of the Nenets. The methodological bases for the study were the ideas of the humanitarian and subjective approaches; the concept of the cultural and historical development of the child’s personality. System analysis was applied which included theoretical analysis of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical literature on the research problem, the method of designing the Model. The obtained results of the research made it possible to create laws, regulations, and theoretical-methodological bases of the Model, to describe the modern portrait of a child of preschool age of the Nenets nationality, on its basis to determine main requirements for the design of the Preschool Education Program for the children of nomads. In the study, we made an attempt to design the content and ways of implementing the Preschool Education Program based on the capabilities and needs of children – representatives of the Nenets nationality, substantiated the importance of considering their psychophysiological and national characteristics in the organization of pedagogical interaction.
