| Annotation |
The analysis of the problem of shallow gold and silver deposits is given, basic
facts about the most important deposits of this formation are presented, up-to-date data
for conditions of their localization, typomorphic characteristics of chalcedonic quartz are
summarized. The main criteria of search and estimation of its belonging to above-ore
zones of such deposits are determined on the basis of new analytical findings. The formula
of proximity to the standard index calculation for estimation of the scale of predictable
new objects is given.
