In the article the problem of parameterization, estimation, correlation of qualitative
and quantitative scales is investigated at testing written speech of foreign students with
the purpose of reception of objective data about real opportunities tested. The question
on the status, the nature of mistakes in written speech of the foreigners who are mastering
Russian as a foreign language, and also the question of classification of mistakes and correlation
of their quantity with the total amount of the statement are given.
