| Annotation |
The article is devoted to the nature’s role in Paustovskiy’s early works. First of all, my
aim is to analyze the landscapes and find out their common features. Besides, I wish to
formulate particular functions of the landscapes. Landscapes help to reveal heroes’ feelings.
They form heroes’ images. Landscapes describe time and location. They motivate
forthcoming actions. Moreover, I pay attention to the development of the nature’s image,
the writer’s landscape painting which develops from a bright, uniform range of colours to
different tints.
