| Annotation |
During the last Soviet decades sociology of music was formed in the conceptual space
of home musicology mainly as an ideological product. In the article the functioning of sociology
of music in the Soviet culture of the “mature socialism” period is considered, and
the analysis from these positions of some genre and stylistic features of texts on the given
discipline (on the example of the monograph by A. N. Sochor «Sociology and Musical
Culture») is carried out.
