| Annotation |
The article is devoted to assessment of the impact of orthodoxy on social processes. The
author attempts to analyze currently available publications on the subject, and identifies
the most famous explorers. It is noted that the number of publications is not significant.
The features of the Russian Orthodox Church and the direction in which it can influence
social processes are distinguished. Current Internet resources are estimated in terms of assessing
the role of Orthodoxy in the state. The contemporary Russian “church journalism”
is characterized. The author tries to identify the ways of further possible development of
Orthodoxy.
