Annotation The paper presents some actual problems of science education of students majoring in the humanities. The authors formulate the basic concepts of science education, describe the methods of teaching the fundamentals of science (selecting and structuring educational information, teaching strategies and learning technologies, terms of efficiency). The study presents the results of the pedagogical experiment, confirming the hypothesis.
