Annotation The paper describes the concept of intertextuality and intertextual relations, as well as the relationships of these concepts with each other. It examines the use of intertextual relations in the linguistic composition in modern Russian prose and gives examples from V. Degtev’s, D. Dragunsky’s and G. Sadulaev’s works. The author emphasizes the idea of constructing a realistic modern literary text.
