The article reveals the importance of metaphor in the understanding of the humanitarian
dialogue with the outside world in a meta-objectivity approach. Metaphor in the modern discursive
humanitarian dialogue, including the pedagogical one, is the basis of “live” knowledge in the
perception of the world. Metaphor as “live knowledge” is a system of universal “sticking together”
strategies of educational situations. The implementation of metaphor functions involves educational
space as a field of ideas of “live” knowledge, open free space of creative universal actions. In the
metaphorical definition this space is marked by a “framework” of world perception, a “regulator” of
man’s relationships with the world. The paper emphasizes the importance of “cultivating” personal
knowledge in educational space while comprehending meta-objectivity of emotional texts-reflections
and problem-heuristic tasks which are metaphoric in their form. Metaphorical nature of our speech
brings man closer to the comprehension of the laws of life and self-development.
