Annotation The article examines spiritual culture lexicon of the Sami of the Kola Peninsula which has not been the subject of systematic linguistic analysis yet. This work is the first semantic and grammatical analysis of christening ceremony vocabulary in Kildin dialect of the Sámi language. On the basis of semantic affinity of the terms, the study distinguishes the following lexical-semantic groups: names of the child; names of the persons connected with the ceremony of christening a child; names of the attributes connected with christening a child; names of the actions connected with christening a child. During field practices the author of this paper collected lexical materials which had not been registered in modern dictionaries of the Sámi language.
