Annotation The paper analyzes educational costs in the Ukraine using such main indices of the state financial support of education as the Ratio of state educational expenses to gross domestic product (GDP), Educational costs as part of GDP per capita, Educational costs per pupil/ student. The study explores the level of education financing by particular parameters and separate stages: primary, secondary and higher education and determines the position of the Ukraine in the world statistics using these parameters. The author compares the levels of educational financing in different countries of the world and assesses the country’s educational costs in terms of the advanced and average level. In conclusion, the author considers that it is possible to achieve the world level of education for Ukrainian citizens.
