The article reveals an actual problem connected with the analysis of the live art text.
The main attention is paid to the analysis of language traditions and new tendencies in the
text. In this case poetic diction of a modern Russian poet Nikolay Savostin is analyzed.
The language space of Nikolay Savostin’s poetry includes some traditional components –
metaphors, similes, etc., but their use is, on the one hand, creatively individual, but on the
other hand, there is a hidden unification of wording existing in the language space. Traditions
arise from the unified language space. One can note novelty in the problem solving.
The innovation is anticipation of those changes in language which haven’t appeared yet,
but the true artist has already managed to “catch” them. Creativity is to make novelty out
of traditions.
