Annotation The article reveals the importance of the peculiarities of supplementary education arrangement in preschool institutions of Mongolia. The author analyzes the regulations and standards of education development of Mongolia and determines that the alternative forms of preschool education are actively developing. The article presents the analysis of the questionnaires, adapted for parents and teachers of pre-school institutions. The questionnaires are aimed at the identification of the priorities for supplementary education in preschool institutions of Mongolia, its development prospects and the problems definition. The author finds out that the parents of children attending day care centers realize the importance of supplementary education, but do not understand the significance of certain supplementary courses. The comparative analysis of the priorities of supplementary education in preschool institutions of Zabaikalsky Krai and Mongolia defines their common and unique features.
