Annotation Food of Siberian stone loach Barbatula toni from different water streams of Zabaikalsky Krai referred to Upper-Amur basin is characterized in the article. Upper water streams patches are characterized with boulder pebble ground and law water temperature. The assessment of fish body condition, gastro-intestinal tract degree of filling was undertaken and the average weight value of nutritional ingredient was determined. The main food spectrum of Siberian stone loach generally constituted amphibiotic organism groups (mayfly, Simulium galeratum, caddis worm larvae and gnats). The main part in stone loach feeding or filling belonged to chironomids mayflies. Differences in food of Siberian stone loach from upper and lower streams of the Kadalinka River were defined. Nutritional composition of the stone loach from lower stream contained amphipoda coming 500 m. upstream to the Kadalinka River from the lake Kenon. Feeding habits of the stone loach were defined with food potential development in mountain and semi-mountain river stretches. Feeding rate was sharply decreased in winter period as indicated by a large amount of fish with empty gastro-intestinal tract. In this respect, fish condition factor decreased considerably from 0,9 till 0,7.
Key words Siberian stone loach, nutritional composition, fish condition factor, food/feeding, mayfly and chironomids larvae
