Annotation |
The article analyzes the experience of quest technology application as a modern educational
technology of the activity type in the conditions of specialized ecology-oriented camp for pupils
of children’s association – school forestry “Forest country” in the urban educational space (Chita,
Zabaikalsky krai). Educational quest is seen as the integrated technology that combines the idea
of the project method, problem and game-based teaching, team collaboration, and information
and communication technologies; combining targeted searches in the performance of the main
problem and a series of ancillary tasks with adventures and (or) the game on a particular subject.
Quest algorithm is built in the logic of problem-based teaching technologies – from the problem
formulation to the ways of its solution, the result presentation and reflection. The article gives
a summary of tested educational quest of environmental subject “Poacher Hunting”, developed on
the basis of the author’s technological card in accordance with the requirements of its structure
and content. We analyze the study results of participants’ satisfaction of the camp days, which are
the basis for our conclusion on the success of the quest-based technologies application in a shortterm
session of specialized camp of ecological orientation, organized on the basis of subject-role
interaction in the “Forest country” according to three educational modules: “Forest School”, “To
nature with love”, “Be healthy, live active!”.
