Annotation This article points out the use of logical operations, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification, generalization and systematization while preparing preschool children to literacy. The scientific novelty of this work is to prepare children presenting to literacy in the context of the formation of preschool children verbal and logical thinking and mastery of logical operations. This approach is consistent with the Federal state standard of preschool education, according to which preparation of children for literacy is considered as forming sound analytical and synthetic activity. The conditions for the formation of logical operations in children include: focus, coherence and stages of education. The article highlights the stages of formation of logical operations: a practical, visual modeling, external speech, mental, it describes peculiarities of each logical operation on these stages. At the same time, as the material, together with ambient child objects, language and speech units are actually used, they are becoming the object of analysis and synthesis for the child. The authors show how the sound structure analysis skills, word, syllabic structure of a word, the verbal part of the proposal are formed, as the formed skills are associated with the preparation of words from the syllables of the words – the proposals so that the child’s attention is switched from the content of language units in their form. The practical significance of this study lies in the fact that this material can be used in the practice of kindergarten teachers.
