Annotation The object of research is colloidal soluble forms of metasilicic (H2SiO3) acid and insoluble forms of orthosilicic acid (H4SiO4). The subject of research is the study of changes in the physical parameters of the disperse system consisting of a colloidal form of silica, in the field of ultrasonic standing waves. The operation mode selection is proved effect on finely dispersed system containing soluble forms of silicas, ultrasonic oscillations in the standing wave mode for 10 minutes with an intensity of 1•104 W/m2. On the basis of thermogravimetric data, conductivity, measurement findings of a violation of thermodynamic equilibrium we made a conclusion on the optical density of the solutions under the influence of ultrasonic vibrations in a dispersed system consisting of metasilicic acid. That leads to orthosilicic acid which helps to cleanse the water from the colloidal particles of the acid and has a positive effect on the technological properties of natural waters. The method is environmentally friendly and economically viable. This area of physical and chemical effects is important for the development of technical solutions in matters of purification of natural water used in enterprises of heat and electricity, as well as in in domestic sphere.
