| Annotation |
The article regards the modern problems of formation of physical culture of student-orphans. The author of the article emphasizes the significance of the social component in the process of the pedagogical work with the students of this category. The questionnaire of the student-orphans revealed the daily personal problems (food, housing, clothes, education, difficult life situations) affecting socialization of the orphans in the society. The problem of the participation of the student-orphans in the sport activity is discussed in the paper. The potential of the sport activity as the effective means of the social adaptation in modern education is analyzed in the article. It is revealed that the idea of the comprehensive and harmonious development of personality has not been realized. It is stated that the mentioned negative tendencies are aggravated by the absence of the so-called “social lifting” for the orphans, and it promotes the growth of drug addiction, criminality, suicide and other socially dangerous manifestations. The article gives the author’s conception of the education space of sport activity of student-orphans which is directed for the decision of the given problem.
