Annotation In the article, the authors deal with a problem of person’s intercultural communicative competence formation in foreign languages by means of telecommunication networks. Also, extracurricular activities of students are considered in the form of a mediated network communication under pedagogical guidance. An analysis of research has been done on the integration of telecommunication and technologies in the process of learning a foreign language in the countries of Western Europe, the United States, and Russia. The features of the formation of intercultural communicative competence in foreign languages through participation in social network structure and the need for cultural reflection to other cultures perception of reality are considered. Importance of professional competence of the foreign language teacher from a position of integration into educational process of means of telecommunication networks is revealed. The teacher’s ability to use information about other cultures that leads to the study of the cultures of other countries is based on world culture and rethinking of their own culture. In conclusion, the authors prove pedagogical conditions of integration of the products and technologies of communication networks in educational process for formation of students’ intercultural communicative competence in foreign languages.
