Annotation |
The paper considers the conditions under which it becomes possible to transfer the flame front through an obstacle in the form of a barrier (fence, barrier protection device, barrage). The derivation of the general formulas links the height of the barrier, the gust speed and other factors when the approaching the flame front to the barrier is presented. The constants, which inbox the final formulas and related to the physicochemical properties of the smoldering particles are determined by the methods of multiple regression analysis by the comparison the modelling results with experimental data and field observations.
