Annotation The article discusses the topical issues of higher education modernization in the transition to the implementation of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the new generation (3++). It is obvious that the learners of the new quality of educational outcomes need to be able to model educational and professional tasks as a model of pedagogical tasks and situations. The authors note that modeling of educational and professional tasks is a holistic process of obtaining and interpreting information about the competence level of the future teacher in the field of professional activity in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standard of higher education (3++) and the professional standard of a teacher. The article also describes in detail the conditions of modeling and practical application of educational and professional tasks in the educational process of the university as a means of assessing the educational results of future teachers of preschool education, which include: content of the educational and professional task as a model vocational-educational situation in the scientific and practical context of pre-school education; technology to solve the educational and professional problem; presenting a solution to the educational and professional problem of a future teacher of preschool education; criteria for assessing the “quasi-professional” activities of the future pre-school teacher. The authors give examples of modeling and application of educational and professional tasks in the direction of 44.03.01 Pedagogical education, profile “Preschool education”, taking into account the modern pedagogical view on the formation of competences in preschool teachers.
