Annotation | The solution of the strategic tasks of the Russian Federation development requires a significant improvement of the higher professional education system and training of competent specialists who are able to perform the professional and social functions necessary for society. In the article, the author analyzes the features of the safety culture formation in the process of training bachelors of technosphere safety, whose professional activity is aimed at ensuring human safety in the modern world. The main condition for the training of competent bachelors at the university is the formation of general cultural and professional competencies in life safety. The conducted theoretical and methodological analysis and generalization of the engineering education experience in the direction of training “Technosphere safety” has revealed the problems of the professionally significant qualities formation and safe thinking in technosphere safety bachelors. The content of the concepts: “general cultural competence of a bachelor of technosphere safety” and “culture of technosphere safety” and a group of general cultural competencies that should be formed in graduates of this direction are clarified, a connection between the level of the formed culture of life safety in the technosphere and the level of acceptable risk accepted in society have been established. Peculiarities of safety culture formation and competence value-semantic orientation, which a bachelor of technosphere safety has, are observed by using the developed training course “Cultural foundations of technosphere safety”. |
