Annotation The purpose of the article is to identify and characterize new forms of career guidance activities of the university aimed at forming an active position of modern teenagers in choosing a future profession. Objectives of the study: to characterize the advantages and disadvantages of vocational guidance activities of the University, to identify and justify the innovative potential of the Network University Educational District (hereinafter referred to as SUOO) in enabling high school students to make a subjective choice of the future educational trajectory focused on the teaching profession. The main method of research was the analysis of scientific papers on the designated problem and the experience of career guidance activities of regional universities in cooperation with schools. The characteristics of the main concepts are given: career guidance activities, innovative forms of interaction between a university and a school, a network university educational district, a subjective choice of a future educational trajectory, etc. Аs a part of the study, an analysis of scientific papers on the problems of career guidance was carried out. The traditional and new formats of career guidance are characterized from the position of their influence on the subjective choice of a future profession. The analysis of the formation and development of the project “Network University educational District” is carried out, the directions of its activity are determined, the content and mechanisms of implementation are disclosed. The first direction is related to the organization of interaction with schools, the definition of areas of cooperation, the main problems in improving the quality of training of future applicants and the choice of a future profession. The second direction is connected with the development of a vocational guidance program for additional education “Pedagogical class”, network programs for in-depth study of specialized subjects. The third direction is the launch of network programs, the organization of a permanent problem seminar on the methodology of teaching specialized subjects. The result of the implementation of University entertaining Saturdays and Smart Holidays for schoolchildren was the creation of a database of gifted children and the development of a support system for school and student initiatives. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the innovative potential of the SOOO from the position of providing an opportunity for a high school student to make a subjective choice of a future profession.
