Annotation The relevance of the research is determined by the need to develop a model of the authority of a modern teacher, taking into account the rich heritage of Russian pedagogical traditions, the formation of an effective style of interaction between teachers and students, and the creation of a platform for collective goals of an educational organization based on the vision of their achievement by the leader. These aspects require a comprehensive scientific understanding. The purpose of the research is to develop a model of effective leadership in an educational environment based on the integration of modern approaches to pedagogical interaction and traditional values of the community, which will optimize management processes and improve the quality of the educational process. The novelty of the research is determined by the authors’ methodological approach to the formation of a modern style of pedagogical interaction, taking into account current educational trends and historically established mental attitudes of the professional community. The criteria for the effectiveness of various leadership styles in education have been identified and substantiated. The research hypothesis is formulated as a statement on the need to integrate various leadership styles in combination with positional leadership, while minimizing authoritarian manifestations, which is most consistent with the traditional mental attitudes of the professional pedagogical community to increase the effectiveness of pedagogical interaction. The hypothesis has been tested by a sociological study conducted in September 2024 among students of the IMSIT Academy (Krasnodar) and the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture (KGIK). The result of the study is the conclusion that modern pedagogical leadership is characterized by a unique synthesis of traditional mental attitudes and innovative management technologies, resulting in a special type of leader-teacher who integrates the best traditions of national education with modern management technologies.
