The author considers expert assessment as a methodological tool allowing for a more in-depth analysis of the concept of “pedagogical worldview of future leaders of choreographic groups”, to identify the manifestation of the sought-after phenomenon among current leaders, to obtain information for improving the educational process of a cultural university, and to develop a strategy for studying this phenomenon in its fundamental and applied aspects. The relevance of the presented research position is determined by the psychological and pedagogical focus of the professional activities of specialists, as well as the need to rethink and modernize the system of training creative personnel for the sphere of culture in the context of higher education. The purpose of the article is to determine the expert opinion in the field under review. The study has been conducted using the methods of comparative analysis of theoretical sources, the method of pedagogical questionnaires, and methods of mathematical and statistical data processing: registration, ranking, scaling, arithmetic mean. The methodological framework is based on the principles of systemic, student-centered, and activity-based approaches. The empirical study draws on the theoretical underpinnings of research by Russian educators, sociologists, and psychologists. The article describes the organization of the experiment, conducted a content analysis of the obtained empirical data on three components (knowledge, emotion, practice), allowing to characterize the significance of a pedagogical worldview in the professional activities of the directors of choreographic groups. Based on the processing and interpretation of empirical data, the author has identified an expert opinion, according to which the professional and personal value of a pedagogical worldview is highlighted, which promotes an understanding of the specifics of professional activity, forms a personal outlook on the profession and self-confidence, acts as a source of professional growth and self-improvement. In the conclusion of the article, recommendations are offered for increasing the effectiveness of subsequent research (expansion of the sample, modernization of the criteria and assessment apparatus, increase in the items studied), prospects for using the obtained results are opened, consisting in the development of technological tools for the formation of a pedagogical worldview of future directors of choreographic groups in the educational process of a university of culture.
