Methodological peculiarities of ecological nets projecting were analyzed and
approaches to econet layout were discussed in the article. Principles and criteria of area
selection during the procedure of econet designing were ascertained. Ungo River econet
planning with usage of geoinformation systems was described as an example in the
article.
