In the article the analysis of the morphological and functional characteristic of spatial
cases and postpositions of the Avar language on the fiction material is carried out. The
locative structure of cases and features of postpositions is considered, specific forms of
specified units’ creation are revealed and described, phrases of different types are comprehensively
described and their serial signs are concretized.
