Annotation The urgency of the article is caused by the intense interest of the state and the society to the education and development of talented/gifted youth. It’s impossible to realize this process professionally and personally if teachers are not ready to it. The problem is aggravated with complexity of the teenager’s age when the endowments is developing in stable high-grade quality of the person, or is fading. The article shows the theoretical analysis of the problem of the teacher’s professionalism formation at work with gifted teenagers. Various aspects of the problem of the teacher’s professionalism formation are representing according to the requirements stated in federal standards and the national educational initiative “Our new school”. Analyzing the various scientists’ points of view on the given problem, the author considers the formation the teacher’s professionalism as a dynamical continuous process of development of the teacher’s potential which is necessary for support and development of the presented teenager in educational space. Stages of the process of the teacher’s professionalism formation are considered as a sequence of certain competences mastering which make the work for support and development of a gifted teenager at this or that level possible.
