In the modern world, social negative phenomena among young people are widespread, such as drug addiction, alcoholism, gambling, various forms of deviant and delinquent behavior. Scientists from different areas are in search of preventive measures to influence social negative phenomena among young people. In the given article the analysis of modern social and negative phenomena in the youth environment is carried out. The problems of modern youth are described. A model of student out-of-class activities is presented, which includes volunteer activity, research activities of students, social and pedagogical activity aimed at the formation of moral values of youth and organization of interaction in reference groups. Among the research methods the method of M. Rokich “Value Orientations”, questionnaire for assessing the level of professional adaptation of students (G. S. Nikiforov, M. A. Dmitrieva), modified by us, “Problem Questionnaire” and modification of the express methodology of A. L. Zhuravleva and A. B. Kupreichenko “Students’ Attitude to Observance of Moral Norms”. The article describes the results of the study of moral values of young people and their level of professional adaptation. The results of approbation the model of out-of-class activity of students are presented.
