Annotation The paper deals with an urgent problem in modern science and practice - the problem of family living arrangements of orphans and children left without parental care. These materials focus on the representation of the regional model of psychological and pedagogical support of family living arrangements of orphans, taking into account the most common forms of placement of children in families of citizens in the Zabaikalsky Krai. The presented model determines the external and internal conditions, including training of both professionals working with families and parents who take an orphan. In addition, it justifies the criteria of its effectiveness, specified activities of the supported participants, methods and forms of work with the professionals involved in the implementation of the model.
