Annotation |
The article focuses on the approaches formed in teaching foreign languages in
the 19th century. New approaches and directions in teaching foreign languages exist
in any historical period. This article emphasizes the best-known and recognized by
the educational community approaches to teaching foreign languages. The modern
contextual approach to teaching foreign languages has a long history and its prerequisites
were founded in the 19th century.
