Annotation The relevance of the issues addressed in the article is determined by the importance of modernizing the system of vocational and pedagogical education in accordance with the requirements of a creative economy. Summarizing the work experience and research results conducted by Russian and foreign scientists, the author proposes to use an integrated set of methods, forms and training tools for the organization of professional training of future vocational education teachersas the main pedagogical strategy, which creates the conditions for the formation of creative competence of future vocational education teachers. Using a set of diagnostic methods experimentally, the author has proved the effectiveness of the application of heuristic, imitation, design, interactive methods, forms and teaching methods in the process of vocational training of students in the field of training “Vocational training (by industry)”. The author has made an attempt to isolate, describe and diagnose components and levels of creative competence, as well as pedagogical tools and methods that he successfully tested in educational practice.
