Annotation In June 2011, on the territory of the Kalarsky Region of the Zabaikalsky Krai, field studies discovered new localities of rare species of plants listed in the «Red Book of the Russian Federation» and in the «Red Book of the Chita Oblast and the Aginsky Buryat Autonomous Area»: Calypso bulbosa (L.) Oakes and Epipogium aphyllum (F. W. Schmidt) Sw. The article gives a general description of the habitats of plants, provides the structure and floristic composition of the communities in which they were found and analyzes the current and potential anthropogenic threats to the identified cenopopulations in connection with the project of economic development of the Udokan deposit.
