Annotation The article deals with the system, content and forms of Russian continuing vocational training leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the context of world historical experience. The author of the article concludes that the two-stage education system offers great opportunities for interdisciplinary and other kinds of professional (vocational) training, opportunities for effective combination of various kinds of vocational training at the level of the Bachelor-Master System. Creating a two-stage model of the Russian education is accompanied by the introduction of a number of innovations in teaching practice in all areas.
