Annotation The paper emphasizes topicality in research of effective language potential of modern media text providing mass response effects from the audience. The space of media text consolidates the energy of individual and collective consciousness. Energy circulation of media text is realized in the process of text formation and text perception. The author suggests analysis of the basic elements of media text energy potential characterized by its subjects – media text creator and consumer, its energy resources converter. The scheme of energy motion from author to reader and the audience is shown according to the law of energy conservation. A brief characteristic of external and internal factors of media text energy circulation is given. Internal factors reflect the author’s and consumer’s personality potential: cognitive and evaluative activity with the help of certain constructs, self-assessment level, consciousness type (analytical, creative), type of needs, extent of creative capabilities, dominant type of perception (auditory, visual, kinesthetic), length of personality’s time perspective (long-term and short-term) which allows bringing together different tempoworlds. External factors determine explicit conditions of accumulation or depletion of media text energy, demonstrate its representation conditions: technological tools, genre-format characteristics, criteria for text complexity and transparency, context and atmosphere of media product perception. External and internal factors can both enrich or deplete the work energy tension constructing original rhythm of the subject and the text energy pulsation. The space of media text reflecting the national model of the world is a priori rating, it facilitates energy accumulation and maintains stable cultural meanings imprinted in the text.
