Annotation Nowadays information technologies are widely spread in the implementation of educational activities. They are helpful tools to solve emerging challenges and different educational situations. Modern IT technologies enter not only the educational system. Because of its rather high inertia educational system only nowadays is starting using methods and techniques of working with information, which have been actively used in business area for about 10 years. Infographics is one of such techniques. The main purpose of infographics is to improve the process of information perception, explaining complex information in simple images, its transmission in a compact and visually attractive message. In the article, the concept of media didactics has been examined, the conditions of using media technologies in the educational process have been considered. The necessity of certain modernization of methods of pedagogical techniques including using of multimedia technologies was proved by the author. The publication reveals the essential characteristics of infographics, the scope of its application in various fields of human activity including education. The author substantiates the concept of use of infographics as a pedagogical technology in the modern educational process.
