Annotation The relevance of the article is due to the need to analyze the upbringing process of humanistic attitude to individuals with special needs, in order to strengthen the processes of humanization of modern society through the Internet media. The issues of coverage of social adaptation in contemporary media space have a pronounced interdisciplinary character since they combine research in pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, philology, journalism and other scientific fields. The article is based on the work of leading foreign and domestic researchers. The theoretical and practical significance and scientific novelty of the work consists in the fact that an attempt is made to investigate the activities of modern media aimed at raising the humanistic attitude of society to people with disabilities. The author examines the peculiarities of coverage of autism problems and people with autism spectrum disorders in the Internet media and concludes that the Internet loci of the modern information space in which information, cultural and educational functions of mass media are realized have a high pedagogical potential. At the same time, they carry out an important mission to educate society on humanistic attitude to individuals with special needs and its humanization in general.
