Annotation The article reveals the perceptive peculiarities of concept love by the classic authors of Russian literature of the 19th century A. S. Pushkin and M. Yu. Lermontov. This subject is considered with the help of comparative methods, as far as there has been made no comparative analysis based on works of these poets. The peculiarities of conceptualization of love are analyzed through four metaphorical models relevant for both authors: love - human being, love - living creature, love - god, love - a plant.
