Annotation Russia’s transition to a new European level of education and training which centers on a particular student, has given rise to the development of new approaches to the evaluation system of the quality of education. Recently, language portfolio has become one of the new, promising technologies of teaching the Russian language. Reflexive and thematic language portfolio is an effective means of forming selfreflection and self-appraisal.
