Annotation In this research paper, the authors consider the necessity of organization of students’ practical journalistic work in the system of higher education. They note that professional and labour socialization results in professional training, particularly young journalists’ training, as it allows them to assimilate the traditions, norms and rules of behavior and basic values of profession. The organization of journalism students’ practical work in the radio and television university company “SUSU-TV” evidences it. This organization meets the requirements of modern mass media. Particular emphasis is put on the study of the experience in making the creative research works based on the university radio and television broadcasting. Moreover, the research paper presents the general characteristics and the requirements to the creative research works. The statistical data confirm a stable interest of journalism students to the creative research project in the radio and television university company “SUSU-TV”. The findings prove the efficiency, practical and education value of making creative research works by journalism students.
