Annotation The article discusses the experience of political education of the younger generation in the first decade after the revolution of 1917 year. Through political education was supposed to be and social education, i. e. training for life in the new society. Forms of political education in this period were: political groups, political knowledge about the new public system, its purposes and its modes of construction; a significant role has provided children’s seal and tricks; socio-political ideals were brought up on the example of the life and work of party activists and heroes of the revolution;, strong emotional impact of revolutionary holidays exacerbated them raising a political influence. To account age-sensitive peculiarities of teenagers new forms were developed. Political games have become them. The relevance of this article is determined by socio-political infantilism of modern youth, on the one hand, and the worsening political situation in the world that requires clarity and firmness of the socio-political opinion, worthy political and patriotic selection – on the other.
