| Annotation |
Possible social, psychological and political reasons of ethnical human identity revival
in modern society at the turn of the 21th century are described in the article. The author
analyzed original, constructivist instrumental approaches in understanding “ethnical identity”
in social-humanitarian research. The phases of ethnical self-actualization research and
modern ethnical identity in national Soviet and Russian science are studied.
