The population of modern Russia hasn’t got its general identification on a scale of Russia
as an integral state. Therefore the situation in the sphere of relations between people of
different nationalities has deteriorated by the end of 2010. This time is indicated by mass
protests of youth in Moscow and other Russian cities with radical slogans that bear a nationalistic
nature. The Altai Republic is a place of rather peaceful interethnic coexistance.
Although, this well-being is based on the common historical heritage and the unity of the
residential territory. The reserve of stability of the stated factors will not last for ever, and it
will extinct in case of the lack of a united national and federal ideology.
