| Annotation |
The article is devoted to the problems of monitoring research at the municipal level (on the example of the
Shilkinsky Region, Zabaikalsky Krai). The author considers monitoring as one of the elements of the education
quality management system. The article defines the goal, objectives, principles, objects and directions of monitoring
and emphasizes the foundational ideas of the municipal conception of education quality monitoring. The article
shows the results of monitoring research and focuses on the importance of the data obtained during the monitoring
at the municipal level to forecast the tendencies of development and make managerial decisions to achieve qualitative
education. The author analyses the results of monitoring research on the activity of the Shilkinsky Municipal
Educational Department (Zabaikalsky Krai). The quality of education isn’t at the high level and the problem of it
is in the absence of a unified management system of the monitoring data bank and ineffective use of the information
obtained.
