Annotation The article analyzes the general cultural competencies of cadets’ educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in terms of their formation importance for the implementation of the professional activities of a modern employee of the internal affairs bodies. The interrelation of competencies that a cadet of the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia possesses in the framework of his professional training is considered. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and work experience in the system of departmental education, pedagogical conditions for the process of formation of general cultural competencies are proposed. The relevance of this problem is determined by the reform of the law enforcement system of our state and the high requirements for graduates of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in terms of the competency-based approach implementation in the system of Russian higher education. General cultural and professionally competent graduates of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia should come to the law enforcement bodies of our country. In terms of the implementation of the Concept of Russian education modernization, the effectiveness of the general cultural training of cadets depends on the humanization and humanitarization of the educational process in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
