Article type
Annotation The article considers the educational potential of specialized network resources and services, which are represented in a wide variety of ways on the Internet and are actively used by university teachers at the moment. The authors conducted their own research; its relevance is associated with the need to develop recommendations for including in the process of university training specialists in advertising all the possibilities of such resources. The difficulty is that the resources and services considered as means of professional training are not educational products in the narrow sense of the word, so it is necessary to use certain selection criteria when selecting them. The authors offer an understanding of their own experience in teaching subjects in the field of advertising and public relations for undergraduate students, focus on methodological problems of including these resources and services in the educational process, and offer a model of criteria for selecting such network resources and services for implementing a competency-based approach in professional training. Empirical research methods are a combination of the method of formalized included monitoring of the process of using these resources and services by students in the framework of training in the discipline of professional training “Advertising in the communication process”, and a questionnaire survey of students. As a result of the research, a formalized approach to assessing the educational potential of such resources and an algorithm for their use in teaching the disciplines of professional training of an advertiser is proposed.
